Great performance by Cogeas Mettler Look at the Giro dell’Emilia

Carrying out a noble performance as a team, the members of the Cogeas Mettler Look  had a great day at the Giro dell’ Emilia, a one-day test held on Tuesday, August 18, in the area of ​​Bologna, Italy. The Giro dell’Emilia, with a total distance of 80 kilometers, had as a final exam the hill of Alto de San Luca that marked the arrival at the finish line of the race.

The Cogeas Mettler Look was represented by the cyclists Marie Soleill Blais, Nohemi Rüegg, Lara Krähemann who did a great job supporting Annabel Fisher. Two attacks were recorded throughout the tour, but the platoon was able to catch up in both occasions. Despite all the effort from the girls of the Cogeas Mettler Look to help Annabel Fisher, there was a fall just 500 meters before the finish line and many cyclists resulted affected, in this way the hopes of the girls of the Cogeas Mettler Look were lost.


Finally Annabel Fisher was placed in position 21, while Marie Soleill Blais arrived in 53, Nohemí Rüegg was located in position 61 and Lara Krähemann was 88. It should be noted that all the members of the Cogeas Mettler Look finished the test.

The Giro dell’ Emilia was won by Cecilie Uttrup Ludwin who marked a time record of 2:10:44.

Diana Klimova wins Russian Road Championship

Cyclist Diana Klimova from our team Cogeas Mettler Look scored a time of 3:29:25. She has been awarded the Russian road cycling championship. Natalia Studenikina was second and Seda Krylova was in third place. At the end of the 120-kilometer race, the Cogeas Mettler Look runner managed to launch an attack and enter the finish line alone to get the Russian national road champion sweater.

María Novolodskaya from the Cogeas Mettler Look team was placed second in the Russian national individual time trial championship. The winner of the day was Yelyzaveta Oshurkova who set a record of 36:48. Ten seconds apart Maria Novolodskaya entered and twenty-two seconds apart came Tamara Dronova, second and third respectively.

The time trial was held over a 27-kilometer route, with the city of Sarama as the starting and finishing goal.

Notable performance of the Cogeas Mettler Look at the Strade Bianche

Once again the Cogeas Mettler Look girls have achieved a remarkable performance in one of the historical events of world cycling, we are talking about the prestigious “Strade Bianche” road test, which has taken place over 136 arduous kilometers in the area of the city of Siena in Italy last Saturday, August 1st.

The highlight of the performance of the Cogeas Mettler Look has been the effort of the British Annabel Fisher, who stayed much of the route among the best 15 of the group. Despite her courage, the former English pilot of the Royal Air Force suffered a fall that took her away from any possibility of victory.

In her first year as a professional, Annabel Fisher won the mountains test at the Tour of Dubai earlier this year, and today she achieves a great performance at Strade Bianche. Likewise, the Swiss Lara Kraeheman and Noemi Rüegg (who suffered a fall) both did an excellent job on behalf of their team, gaining experience from this prestigious test.

The Cogeas Mettler Look was directed by the Italian Valentina Scandolara, and represented by the British runner Annabel Fischer, the German Katharina Hechler, and the Swiss Lara Kraeheman and Noemi Rüegg. A total of 22 professional teams took part in the great event that brings together the best of world women’s cycling. The test had as its starting point the town of Sienna, with the Piazza del Campo as its final goal.

Mia Radotić 2nd place at Coratian Road Championships

The Cogeas Mettler Look rider Mia Radotić was ranked second in the Croatian National Road Championship, the race with a total length of 72.3 kilometers was run around the city of Zadar on Sunday July 19, 2020.




Mia Radotić, who last Saturday won the individual time trial, made a great effort to get the route, but despite her will, she was overtaken by Fassa runner Bartolo Maja Perinović who set a time of 1: 55.30 at a average of 37.56 km / h. Natalija Bakula came in third place and completed the podium.


First place for Mia Radotic – Croatian TT National Championships

Mia Radotic with  a time of 27 minutes and 20 seconds marked the best record of the day in the Elite Women’s category during the Croatian national time trial championship on Saturday, July 18. The young runner who has maintained a tough training discipline during the quarantine, has managed to win the individual time trial with an average of 41,268 km / hour.



The test that would proclaim the Croatian national champion of the specialty, was held in the surroundings of the city of Šibenik, over a distance of 18.8 kilometers. Second place went to Maja Perinovic at 1: 21.26 from the winner, Mateja Posavec came in third place.
