WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS, GULNAZ BADYKOVA 4TH PLACE – POLAND

The Cogeas Mettler Look Russian cyclist, Gulnaz Badykova was ranked fourth in the points race at the world track championship taking place in the Polish city of Pruszkow,  held on the  27th of February.

 

Disputed to 100 laps, the test by points that ran at a dizzying pace, had difficult passages of many nerves and energy, where the young runner of Cogeas Mettler Look, Gulnaz Badykova fought for a place on the podium against the best riders of space.

The event was won by the Australian runner Alexandra Manly who accumulated 29 points. The Irish Lydia Boylan was second with 28 units. In the third place came the Dutch Kirten Wild with 26 points. Tied with 26 points the fourth position was for the young promise of the Russian cycling Gulnaz Badykova, who saved her energy for the final, managed to win the ninth sprint of the test (of a total of 10 sprints).
